Let’s Nail Q4 Together!

Can you believe that in just over a year we’ve grown to 12 groups!?

It just shows what we can achieve when we Work Together!

We’ve had phenomenal growth and it’s been a really exciting time, but now we’re applying the brakes a bit to focus on some consolidation activities. This means our Q4 priorities are focused around making what we’ve already got, great, before we grow any more.

What that means in practice is that there will be no more new groups this side of Christmas while we prepare for significant growth in the first half of 2022. And this is where you come in.

We need everyone in The Growth Community to pull together and help us grow and keep delivering a great experience for each other and the guests who come to network with us.

So, this is what’s on the plan for Q4 and how you can help deliver it.  

Focus #1: Get every group to a minimum of 10 great members

Between now and December we’ll be working hard with the teams that are currently running below 10 members. Once groups get to 10 they can then grow to 15 in their own time, seeking out the right people to join the team. If your group is currently below 10 then we need to focus hard on growth for the next couple of months to get the team solid for the New Year.

Focus#2: Really get to know the people in our teams

Whether your group has reached 10 or not, then make sure that you have really taken the time to get to know the people in your team. If you’re going to be able to support each other’s success in the New Year, you’ve got to take the time now to put the building blocks in place. Start with a couple of good 121s and complement this with some regular short catch up conversations (your member only meetings are perfect for that).

Focus#3: Start #WorkingTogether

For those people that you’ve started to get to know well then it’s time to start doing some things to help each other. It’s ok to start small. That’s how we develop trust and credibility. Explore introductions together and identify the people you are in contact with, the places you network, the customer or supplier base you have. You could also collaborate on a podcast, blog or other marketing activity. The important thing is to start having these kinds of conversations.

Focus#4: Tell more great people about our fabulous community.

Do you remember what you wrote down on page one of your Foundation Training workbook about why you chose The Growth Community? Think of the nice people in your networks, tell them all about your experience and invite them along to meet the people in your team. Don’t think about job titles, categories or whether they’ll convert into a member. Just invite nice people to come meet the other nice people that you have committed to help.

Focus#5: Use Representatives to support your meetings.

If you’re playing a football match and half the players don’t turn up then all you can do is have a kick about – it’s fun but it’s not a match. If we want to run good quality meetings we need a full contingent of members. If you can’t attend your meeting you must endeavour to provide a representative (unless it is a last minute family or health emergency). We will be clarifying the use of representatives with some more training during October and we are also creating a directory of Representatives that members can access from the Dashboard to support you. Remember, that your reliability and credibility are the keys to building trust. No trust – no referrals! 😊
