Below is a CHECKLIST to help get you set up…
We want you to get settled in quickly. So take a couple of minutes to run through the elements below. Don’t forget your Group Leader is on hand to help if you need it!
MEMBER PORTAL
This portal contains information about your group and our community. For day to day help you might find our FAQ page useful. You can access it from the button at the top of the main GC website.
BOOK INDUCTION TRAINING
Every new member is expected to complete our induction workshop within their first three months. A highly engaged and proactive community is only successful when everyone has a joined up approach. So this session, which is run monthly by Nicky, our Founder, helps everyone to get the most out of their membership.
JOIN YOUR WHATSAPP GROUP
We use Whatsapp for chatting between meetings and for some communication cascades from HQ. Your Group Leader will add you as soon as your membership is live, so watch out for the notification.

GET MEETING DATES IN YOUR DIARY
Your Group Leader can give you a copy of all of your upcoming meeting dates. Remember that every third fortnight is a MEMBER ONLY meeting. It’s expected that you will attend every fortnight. If you are unable to attend please let your Group Leader know in advance. Please do not use your group whatsapp to communicate absence.
ACCEPT AN INVITE TO A ‘HELLO’ MEETING WITH YOUR GROUP LEADER
Your Group Leader will invite you to a ‘hello’ meeting soon after you join. This is an opportunity to ensure you have received everything you need to get settled in. Your Group Leader will be interested to know what goals you have for your membership so have a think about what they are before the meeting.
JOIN OUR PRIVATE MEMBER FACEBOOK GROUP
Our private member facebook is a good place to see other members and share any information that other members might find useful. You don’t have to join if you don’t want to. We share our Member of the Month information on there so it’s worth joining to see who’s excelling across our community.
BOOK YOUR FIRST SHOWCASE PRESENTATION
Your Group Leader will book you in at the next available slot for you to do your ten minute showcase presentation. If they’ve not done it before, you can organise it during your ‘hello’ meeting.
PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST MEMBER ONLY MEETING
As a guest you won’t have seen our Member Only meetings before. Your Group Leader will ensure you know what to expect. But for your first meeting just come armed to talk for about 5 minutes about what’s going well in your business, anything that’s challenging you and an action that the other members could help you with in the coming weeks. INVITE SOME GUESTS
It’s everyone’s job to ensure that we have a nice selection of interesting guests at our meetings. Click on the button below to share our Locations page with prospective guests so that they can also visit us six times a year for free.
WANT TO SET SOME NETWORKING GOALS?
Having some goals for your membership will enable you to keep an eye on how well it’s going for you. They don’t have to be financial. If you’d like some help to come up with a goal or two for your membership click on the button below
